The Name

Purposefully the name “Nabaroon” has been choosen to mean the raising Sun. The sun forms a vital energy force, so as our society, because ultimately this is this society of ours which has to be sustained. In purely Assamese terms, in order to form the exact meaning of the word “NABAROON”, we have to break up the word as “Naba” means new and “aroon” means the sun. Thus, in totality the word “NABAROON” will mean “New Sun”. It is the Endeavour on all our part to welcome this “New Sun” of our society.

About School

The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, the foremost examining body of the country. It offers a curriculum from grade 6-10, inclusive of state/national level exams at the 10th. The strength of the student community is strong supported by a committed and qualified teaching faculty and the teacher-student ratio is 1:35.
